When NSU (Nova Southeastern University), the largest private university in South Florida, joined ranks with Baptist Health, a major healthcare institution, they needed a fresh ad campaign to introduce their partnership to their communities. Unveiling NSU Health, a brand-new system of clinics and hospitals catering to the underserved, the affluent and everyone in-between, was a huge task that required a soft touch and a big heart. I pitched two concepts to the university of which Here, You’ll Feel Better won, and then set to work out the kind and compassionate brand voice they were looking for. I crafted all the copy for this integrated campaign to excite and inform across television, OOH, digital media, and social. The slogan is by Gregg Steward, and the artwork by Ken Butts.

NSU Scholarships

Tasked with attracting more students to the university, I launched a paid digital and social campaign to help raise awareness, engaging young millennials and Gen Z students with practical and positive messaging. I kept the voice authentic and direct, an attempt to capture driven candidates to the program.

NSU Social
My team’s working relationship with NSU was full service, meaning we handled projects both big and small, including taking over their social media accounts while we helped onboard and train an in-house team. We created social calendars, gave spotlights to outstanding students, drove awareness of school policies and programs. We also increased both student and parent engagement with NSU Social across Facebook and Instagram.

NSU alumnus DeArmas Graham, Ed.D. is an inspiration. After he graduated from Fischler College, he contributed to P-12 education for over 24 years as a teacher, curriculum builder, and advocate. Presently working as an adjunct professor at NSU, as well as principal at St. John’s County schools, Mr. Graham has developed a program to help build resilience in students impacted by adverse childhood experiences.
