McDonald’s, one of the largest global brands of all time, needed a writer to help promote their new menu items and deals. I stepped up to the plate to deliver with radio and TV/OLV ads that aired across multiple general and African American markets, including Philadelphia, Miami, Dallas, and New Orleans. My priorities were keeping the voice engaging and down-to-earth, yet remaining true to the brand as a whole. I wrote scripts, selected complementary music tracks, cast and directed talent during all recording sessions, and worked with ADs on choosing visual treatments.
